Founder Dr Linden Schrecker, a Department of Chemical Engineering graduate, was supported by our Enterprise team to launch a new spinout, SOLVE, using AI to improve the manufacturing of products such as drugs and fertilisers.
We will be back on 30 April 2025 to showcase the Chemical Engineering deep tech spinoffs that successfully tackle global challenges, and the new spinoffs in the pipeline. Be in with a brilliant opportunity to network with investors, students and successes of the Department.
The Enterprise team participated in the translation session, led by Director of Chemical Engineering Enterprise, Professor Sandro Macchietto, with particular focus on commercialising research.
Imperial graduate, Dr Jiajun Cen, conceived the idea of low-cost, sustainable energy storage solution based on salt water while studying for a PhD with the Department of Chemical Engineering.
