Research interests

My research involves emerging infectious diseases and currently focuses on arboviruses such as dengue, Zika and Chikungunya and zoonoses such as West Nile Virus. We develop mathematical and statistical models to investigate the drivers of transmission and assess the impact of control strategies. We are currently developing dynamical models to better understand how climate and climate change affect arbovirus transmission locally and globally.
