The Careers Advisory Service is offering a range of summer workshops specifically for PhD students.

The Careers Advisory Service is offering a range of interactive workshops designed to help PhD students to prepare for the next stage of their career, whether within academia or in industry.

The topics covered will include the following subjects:

  • CV workshop for PhDs – Academia or Industry – 3rd July, 10:00-12:00
  • Interview workshop for PhDs – 3rd July, 14:00-16:00
  • Job search using Social Media, with an employer’s perspective – 4th July, 10:30-12:00
  • Assessment Centre workshop for PhD students – 5th July, 10:00-12:00
  • Consultancy Case Studies for PhDs – 5th July, 14:00-16:00

To sign up for any of the workshops, please come to the Careers Advisory Service, Level 5 Sherfield Building. A deposit of £10 is required which will be refunded when you attend.
