Automatic redirection from one page to another available in CMS
Sometimes it is useful to have pages in your site which automatically redirect to another site. The most common use for this feature is to create entries in the dropdowns for your site which take the visitor directly to another site e.g. on the Engineering Faculty site http://www.imperial.ac.uk/engineering , there is a list of departments under the Departments button which go directly to the departmental sites.
The list was created by building special pages with the required page title, but containing a line of script to force the redirect to a different URL.
How to use this feature:
If you need to use this feature, please contact Marion Brady or Theresa Nichols and we will create the redirect pages for you.
