"Focus on Management"
Monday 30 & Tuesday 31 March 2009
The Careers Advisory Service’s annual "Focus on Management" course gives you the opportunity to network with recent graduates from multi-national companies and also develop further a range of key skills through working alongside fellow students and managers from major employers such as BP, Rolls Royce, Accenture and npower on business case studies.
'Very interesting and informative. The course was well structured. Time Management was good and the variety of the firms present was impressive. The idea of 'graduate managers' was excellent as it provided a point of contact when I needed some assistance.'
'It was a great experience and I got more than I expected. The different 'games' were very useful in terms of simulating the working environment but with more fun and less formalilty. In addition, for me it was very useful to have to do team work, something which I don't usually have the chance to do.'
(2008 participants)
