SAID BUSINESS SCHOOL, OXFORD: Oxford Private Equity Conference - Friday 13 March 2009
The Oxford Private Equity Conference is a high profile, Student-organized event focusing on current and future trends in the private equity industry.
With a broad range of high-profile speakers from the private equity industry and other institutions involved in this sector, this year's conference will consist of a series of talks and a concluding panel discussion looking at how the sector is performing in the current economic climate. The theme is captured in our title: "Private Equity beyond the Credit Crunch: Can the 'Kings of Capitalism' reclaim their throne?"
The conference will be held on Friday 13th March, running from 10.30 am to 6.00 pm. An exciting line up of speakers has already been confirmed, including senior representatives from leading private equity firms, like KKR, and institutions, like the British Venture Capital Association. In addition we will hear about the broader economic context from prominent academics, journalists and politicians, and the event is certain to be of value for all levels.
For those already familiar with the private equity world this is a not to be missed opportunity to hear from people at the top of the industry, but it is also suitable for those who simply want to learn more about the sector.
It is likely that the number wishing to attend will be far greater than the places available, so those interested would be well advised to apply early. The application deadline is Friday 6th March. All details may be found online at www.oxpec.org.
