New! Careers Advisory Service - Assessment Centre Workshops

Run throughout the summer term, Monday to Friday at 16:00.

Find out more about the different tasks which you might have to undertake at an assessment centre by attending our new workshops.

We will be running separate sessions:

• Making presentations
• Group tasks
• ‘In-tray/e-tray' exercises

Each workshop will be interactive and will give you the chance to have a go at the tasks as well as getting useful advice on what employers may be looking for in candidates and how to develop your own skills.

As the workshops will be interactive and you will get a chance to take part in a simulated assessment centre exercise, before coming to the workshop, we strongly suggest that you look at the Assessment Centres section of our website including the video: www.imperial.ac.uk/careers/ug/applicationandselection/assessmentcentres. This will give you a broad introduction to the topic and some initial hints and tips on how to approach the exercises.
