Two Faculty researchers are elected new Fellows of the Royal Society

Of the 44 new Fellows elected in 2009, two researchers were from Imperial College, both within the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

Professor Martin Buck (Life Sciences) and Professor Mike Duff (Physics) were elected FRS on 15 May 2009. Professor Buck was elected for his work in transcriptional regulation in bacteria  and Professor Duff for his research in string theory .
