HOME OFFICE: Fellowship Programme
A joint project with the National Mentoring Consortium, Windsor Fellowship and the Home Office Strategic Diversity Action Team.
Do you wish to have a career as a Fast Streamer in the Home Office?
If so, why not apply for the Home Office Fellowship Programme which will help you understand the recruitment processes for the Civil Service Fast Stream. Whilst the programme makes no guarantees of being selected for the Civil Service Fast Stream the programme has been designed specifically to facilitate entry into the Fast Stream.
The programme will consist of three one day professional workshops providing:
- Guidance on interview techniques and report writing
- An insight on the techniques and process for entry to the Fast Stream
- Realistic and practical awareness of Civil Service recruitment processes
In addition, participants will receive monthly mentoring over a period of six months with Civil Servants within the Home Office.
Eligibility:
- Recent graduate (within 2 years, min., 2.2) or in the final year of an undergraduate degree programme
- From a Black, Asian or minority ethnic group
- The programme is open to UK Nationals only, i.e., British Citizens, British subjects under Part IV of the British Nationality Act 1981 having the right of abode in the UK
