CAREERS ADVISORY SERVICE: Developing a Research Career - Wednesday 12 May 2010
Interested in a career in research after completing your PhD?
Organised by the Careers Advisory Service, this event, will give you the chance to find about more with 4 speakers providing different insights into working in research within Higher Education and in industry.
Imperial College academic staff and industry professionals will talk about their own personal career development and the challenges and rewards of research in a number of different contexts.
Industry speakers will be from Imagination Technologies and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratories.
The event is aimed at PhD students from all year groups and subjects and speakers will be drawn from a variety of disciplines.
The evening will start with a formal panel of speakers with an opportunity for questions followed by a time for informal networking.
