Across the Street, Around the World
Celebrating the cultural diversity and artistic impact of Kensington and Chelsea.
The fourth annual Across the Street, Around the World festival began on 4 October, and is a celebration of arts, culture and community in Kensington and Chelsea. Running across three weeks, the 15 unique events commissioned by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) will each draw upon the rich artistic, filmic and musical heritage of West London. The inaugural October Lecture launched the festival and was led by reggae poet and political activist Linton Kwesi Johnson
