Careers Workshop for Students and Early Career Researchers

This is the first in a series of Biochemical Society's Members' careers workshop and aims to give students, and those in the early stages of a scientific career, information about the wide range of different careers which are available to those who have Life Science degrees and PhDs. The event is FREE to Society members.
The afternoon will begin with an interactive workshop on effective career management, followed by the opportunity to speak to a range of professionals who have used their Life Science degrees to progress in a variety of different careers. You will find out about why they chose their particular paths, what their jobs involve and what they have done to be successful.
The day will finish off with refreshments and networking.
