Imperial Celebrates Senior Postdocs' Contribution

Two of our Senior Postdocs, Dr Joan Tilburn and Dr Wanwisa Dejnirattisai, were recently invited to attend the Rector’s Drinks, celebrating the important contribution that this group of staff makes to Imperial College.

Two of our Senior Postdocs, Dr Joan Tilburn and Dr Wanwisa Dejnirattisai, were recently invited to attend the Rector’s Drinks, celebrating the important contribution that this group of staff makes to Imperial College. Joan gave the following account of the evening:‘I attended the Summer Drinks Party on June 16th in the Solar Room and garden of 170 Queen’s Gate. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be there and to meet and talk with Rector Sir Keith and Lady Rita O’Nions, his team and the other guests. We listened to great jazz played by Imperial musicians and enjoyed tasty canapés and summer drinks served by attentive caterers. The atmosphere was very relaxed, warm and friendly. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, ‘feel good’ evening in a great venue.’
