FSA: Women to Work - Friday 24 June 2011
Women to Work is a female focused event for students interested in pursuing a career in financial regulation.
As the FSA moves forward we are looking for people who have a new perspective and fresh ideas to help make a real difference. The event will also give a unique insight into a fascinating career where graduates can play a key role in the transition to a new regulatory framework.
By attending Women to Work you will get a real understanding of the work we do. We regulate the full spectrum of financial services from international investment banks, to mortgage providers, insurance brokers and independent financial advisors.
At this event you will also have the opportunity to:
- network with current graduates and senior women within the business, hearing about their experiences;
- work on a case study designed to give you a real insight into the work we do;
- receive an interactive skills session to help develop the skills needed to succeed in our assessment process, including a practice group exercise and top tips on how to avoid rejection
Taking place on the 24 June 2011, this one-day event is being held at our offices in Canary Wharf. We will provide lunch and refreshments on the day and make a contribution towards any travel expenses from outside London.
This event is open to students in their final or penultimate year of study as well as postgraduate students. We welcome applications from students studying any degree who have or are expecting a 2.1 or above.
As part of our application process you will also be asked to demonstrate your motivation for a career in regulation.

As an equal opportunities employer the FSA’s Women to Work Insight Event is female focused but not exclusive to female candidates.
